Official website of Filipino Club Darwin Inc. (FCD) - ABN 55 313 354 134 - concepted in September 1990 by the 1st president, then Dr Ron Mann (now  King Roman of Europa, Grand Duke of Lithuania), and Lady Fele Mann to help orphans and poor, and the oppressed. King Roman was first president, and Lady Fele has been elected annually since 1991. Both founders are in Who's Who in the World, and Fele is in the Who's Who of Australian Women.

Owing to the President's battle with cancer and other ailments, it has been decided that the usual annual fundraiser number 24 will be postponed indefinitely. During this period in particular your kind donations would be most appreciated to help keep the Club going.

Lady Fele suffered a heart attack on 20 July 2015 and was hospitalised. She has been weakened further by the experience.

The 22nd annual Charity Gala Night & Beauty Pageant held on June 25, 2011, was another highly successful evening sponsored by the Northern Territory Government and attended by Chief Minister The Honourable Paul Henderson MLA.

Highlights included musical renditions from Rachel Tolliday and Nikki Maxwell. Other surprisingly good acts were Shinta Perry, little Christopher Hallazgo, and Phil O'Brien. Rod Dingle and Lillian de los Reyes attended from Sydney for the 12th time to host the Pageant and entertain. Florida Joeng from Makasar, Indonesia, won the title Miss NT Australia 2011.

Celebrities who have supported Filipino Club Darwin Inc. include HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, Jackie Chan, John Travolta, ABS-CBN president Charro Santos-Concio, and Tina Monzon-Palma director of Bantay Bata 163. For our 22nd year good wishes received included from movie star Anne Hathaway.

Letters of support have included letters from Queen Elizabeth II, from Pope Benedict XVI, and from former Prime Minister Kevin Rudd.

This fundraiser for the orphans and poor was held at the Filipino Community Center, cnr Batten Road, Marrara, Darwin, Australia, from 6 pm until late. As usual, proceeds were used to help orphans and poor. Donations are most most welcome.
